- Wellington Vineyards – first stop on day tour through Sonoma and Napa counties with the A family. Really enjoyed their Noir de Noirs – thick, viscous and full of jammy, sweet tasting fruit. The kind of wine you drink with a fork.

- Domaine Carneros Winery – makers of one of my favorite Pinot Noirs and Champagne. Founded 25 years ago by Champagne Taittinger. The chateau is a 18th century building architecturally inspired by the Taittinger Château de la Marquetterie in Champagne.
